We joined Zambrero for their annual Plate4Plate day, packing meals for communities around the world in partnership with Rise Against Hunger. Thanks to our incredible GPTW Committee, ESV recently held a blood drive for Australian Red Cross Lifeblood and our amazing team showed up in full force. From first-time donors to regulars, each contribution made a real impact – helping save up to 45 lives.

We’re proud to be a team that steps up, supports each other, and gives back in meaningful ways, big and small.

This morning, our team came together for the Cancer Council Australia’s #BiggestMorningTea
A cherished annual tradition where we swap spreadsheets for spatulas, all in the name of fundraising for life-saving cancer research.

With nearly 1 in 2 Australians diagnosed with cancer before 85, this cause hits close to home for many. So, we rolled up our sleeves, fired up the ovens, and turned our Breakout Area into a colourful spread of cakes, brownies and heart-warming generosity. Complete with homemade crowd favourites and a show-stopping cake featuring a few of our team members mid-tennis match!

Thank you to every team member who baked, donated, taste-tested and made it a morning of joy, generosity, and purpose. Every dollar raised takes us a little closer to a cancer-free future.

Because for or us, giving back is more than just a calendar event — it’s part of who we are.

The holiday season is a time for kindness, connection, and looking out for one another.

This year, ESV is proud to support Lifeline’s Christmas Food Drive, helping to stock their pantry with essential supplies for those doing it tough.

As we close the chapter on #Movember 2024, we’re filled with gratitude and pride for our incredible team and those who rallied around them!

The month was more than MOs and challenges, it was about raising awareness, driving change and making a real impact for men’s health. Through conversations and action our team embraced Movember proving the power of #community in driving meaningful change. This year, we decided to elevate our Movember efforts by focusing not only on fundraising but also on education. Throughout the month we shared educational posts to raise awareness about men’s health.

With each step we take, we’re not just walking, we’re taking strides towards dismantling the walls that have long surrounded conversations about mental health. As we all know mental health awareness is more than a month, it’s our every day.

We’re beyond grateful for the overwhelming generosity and kindness our team has shown in support of the Black Dog Institute and mental health awareness. In just 31 days, our amazing team walked over 7,777 km and raised over $4,000! We are excited to continue our conversations and advocacy for mental health beyond October.

One of our favourite ways to give back is to join the Zambrero team for their annual Plate4Plate day!

We helped pack over 90,000 meals which the team at Rise Against Hunger will distribute to those in need in the Philippines. 90,000 meals means 417 children will receive a nutritional meal for every day they attend school.

It was an incredible day filled with spirit and some great tunes. We can’t wait for next year!

This year, the team decided to lace up their running shoes for a cause that truly matters – mental health awareness and support through Beyond Blue. Together, we’ve made an impact, not only in terms of the funds raised but also in the conversations sparked and the awareness raised. Mental health matters, and it’s a cause worth running and walking for.

We proudly hosted our annual  Biggest Morning Tea for Cancer Council Australia on May 23. At ESV, we believe in championing positive change in our community and today is one of the many ways we try to do so. Almost 1 in 2 Australians are diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85. The Cancer Council want to change that – this morning tea raises important funds that will help bring us closer to a cancer free future through funding research projects.

Each year we transform our breakout area into an old school bale sale with our team members baking their favourite sweet and savoury treats! Yes, that cake you see sitting there was made by one of our incredible Advisors. Thank you to our incredible team for being part of today. Together we’re not just dreaming of a better future; we’re actively building it, one cup of tea, one donation, one conversation at a time.

As we bid farewell to Movember for 2023, we’re so incredibly proud of our team and all of those who rallied around them in a collective effort to embrace the power that is Movember. The last 30 days haven’t just been about impressive facial hair; it was about cultivating change and making an impact for men’s health.

Together our team members raised their voices, awareness and funds for crucial issues such as prostate cancer, testicular cancer, and mental health. The impact we’ve made is a testament to the strength of our community and our commitment to fostering a healthier future for men everywhere. But we’re not ones to let the momentum fade, we’ll be carrying the spirit of Movember into our everyday lives, continuing the conversation, and breaking down stigmas.

This incredible initiative, born from the heart of our Great Place to Work Committee, is all about inspiring our team to step out and make a positive difference in the world. With each step, we’re not only raising funds but also spreading awareness for mental well-being.

With 1 in 5 people experiencing symptoms of mental illness each year, many of us have been or know someone impacted. With each step we take, we’re not just walking, we’re taking strides towards dismantling the walls that have long surrounded conversations about mental health. As we all know mental health awareness is more than a month, it’s our every day. We are excited to continue our conversations and advocacy for mental health beyond October.

On the 13^th of August 2023, a team of our finest walkers and runners continued on a new ESV tradition and joined more than 80,000 participants in City2Surf! The team were thrilled to have been part of an electrifying moment at the starting line, where passionate individuals united for more than just a race. We celebrated community, well-being, and giving back. This year, the team laced up their running shoes and took each step to raise awareness and support for mental health through Beyond Blue. Our impact extends beyond funds raised, fostering crucial conversations and heightened awareness.

We are so proud of our team for their amazing effort and dedication to making a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected by mental health challenges.

On the 25th of May we proudly hosted our annual Biggest Morning Tea – an amazing opportunity for us all to unite in the fight against cancer and make a meaningful difference to the lives of those affected.

Our breakout area was transformed into an old school bake sale with many of our staff baking their favourite sweet and savoury treats! All funds raised go towards research, prevention and support.

Cancer is a leading cause of death in Australia, every donation no matter how big or small makes a difference! If you would like to donate you can head to the Cancer Council website.

In October 2022 ESV embarked on the walk for mental health, OneFootForward , raising funds and awareness for the Black Dog Institute. With 1 in 5 people experiencing symptoms of mental illness each year, many of us have been or know someone impacted. We were overwhelmed with the amount of generosity and kindness our team members showed, absolutely smashing our goals for the month, and collectively walking over 7,000km! We are so proud of our team members raising over $3,000, all of which goes towards learning more about the causes of mental illness and to create evidence-based mental health tools that are accessible to everyone.

One Foot Forward was brought to our Great Place to Work Committee by our team members who wanted to increase positive discourse and awareness around mental health. We thank them for bringing this initiative to life!
Our top walker for the month was motivated to walk over 30km in a single day to “help raise awareness for mental health and show support for a cause close to my heart”.

On the 14^th of August 2022, a team of our finest walkers and runners joined more than 60,000 participants in City2Surf 2022! The team nominated Cancer Council NSW as our chosen charity, it’s a cause close to many of our hearts with 1 in 2 Australians being diagnosed with cancer before the age of 85.

At ESV we have a Great Place to Work Committee – this is a collaborative team of ESV employees who meet monthly to discuss what makes ESV a great place to work – and perhaps more importantly how we can make it even better for everyone! We are proud to say that this was an event that was born from this Committee and had an amazing response with 27 volunteers from our Junior Cadets to leading Partners all coming together for the cause.

On the 19^th of May 2022, ESV held our annual Biggest Morning Tea to help raise funds for the Cancer Council and support those impacted by cancer. All funds raised go towards research, prevention and support. Our staff baked some of their favourite treats as we transformed our office into an old school bake sale! By hosting a morning tea we hope to truly make a difference to those affected.

On the 19th of May 2021, ESV held our Biggest Morning Tea raising much-needed funds for the Cancer Council. Australia’s Biggest Morning Tea is a community event that raises vital funds to make a big difference for those impacted by cancer. Hosting a morning tea will help bring us one step closer to a cancer free future

Our breakout area was transformed into an old-fashioned bake sale with many of our talented staff baking their favourite sweet or savory treats!

On the 30th of April 2021, ESV had the opportunity to do their little bit to ‘give back’ to two exceptional charities – Our Big Kitchen (OBK) and the Lillian Howell Project Inc (Lillian’s).

OBK is a community kitchen in the heart of Bondi. Last year over 120,000 meals were made and distributed to disadvantaged Australians from the OBK kitchen. Half of our ESV team went to OBK and helped prepare 300 meals for disadvantaged people. The goal was 270 meals but the ESV team loves a challenge and delivered more.

The remaining ESV team members went to Lillian’s – a young women’s only refuge in Sydney’s Inner West. Lillian’s accommodates young women who are experiencing homelessness in a safe, secure and supportive environment. The ESV team re-organised the garage, transformed three garden areas (there were A LOT of weeds), painted and then cooked the girl’s dinner! The team was so efficient they completed everything on the ‘wish list’ and more!
